Docsis Standard
Using existing Docsis standard wirelessly, including Docsis ability to adjust for adverse RF conditions.
Introducing
Existing DOCSIS 3.1 signals are transformed to higher frequencies, transmitted wirelessly and converted back to original DOCSIS signals at the customer premise without signal degradation.
Using existing Docsis standard wirelessly, including Docsis ability to adjust for adverse RF conditions.
Reduced latency vs coax based Docsis implementations.
Air Wireless provides wireless Docsis implementations from 2 to 90GHz
Current generation maximum speeds per Base Station containing 4 Sectors in a 360° setup for the e-band frequency range.
Service levels may be slightly lower than in fixed line networks due to dependency of some frequencies on distance and weather conditions. Depending on the frequency, distance to the transceiver, Docsis spectrum allocation in the HFC network, fully equipped base station streams between 2Gbit/s and 20Gbit/s.
Any frequency range between 2 and 90 GHz supported.
Cumulative downlink capacity per base station (4 sectors). 400 MHz frequency bandwidth is required to utilize DOCSIS 3.1 @ 384 MHz
Dependent on clear weather and clear line of sight
